Les started his journey as an artist over 40 years ago with poetry, industrial design and driftwood sculptures.
Most recently however, his keen eye through the lens of the camera has lead him to sculpt, photograph and paint collections inspired by Western Canada’s Rocky Mountain landscape and Arctic culture.
Les strives to exhibit on a variety of artistic platforms. His latest abstract and landscape collections demonstrate a departure from reality, but seeks to achieve its effect using unique shapes, forms, colors and textures to express his depiction of imagery in art. Currently exhibiting in new media, oil and acrylic.
Les has incorporated the experience of his world travels and love of nature to showcase his paintings.
